My name is Laura.
I'm a brunette, a sagittarius, and a costumer.

I am also a blushing bride-to-be as me and my long-time boyfriend have finally decided to take the plunge and make it official!

This journal is an offshoot from my costuming journal, seems that one was getting bogged down with personal info that I didn't really want to share with the entire www, so this place was born. Because of our new plans to get hitched this journal will be used as a dumping ground for all my thoughts, stresses, excitements and just general musings regarding the planning of our big day on top of all the other personal stuff that gets thrown in here.

I currently live in Minneapolis, but am a transplant from Southwestern Louisiana, Lafayette to be exact. I love most things Southern, especially the food.

Speaking of food...I like to cook, I've just started to like baking, and other non-food related hobbies include: costuming, which involves another hobby, sewing, scrapbooking, web building, graphic design, interior design, costume design, art history, architechture, antiques, antique clothing, Okay...I'll just put this in Interests section.

I have two cats, Mork and Mindy, buggers! And a turtle, Gregory.
